Mr. Revenant

We created a new illustrated merchandise design and evolved logo for Mr. Revenant, a horror storytelling channel with an audience of late-night listeners. The concept draws a parallel between the supernatural idea of a revenant returning from the dead and the channel’s community of insomniacs staying awake into the early hours listening to scary stories.

The central illustration reimagines the channel’s revenant as a sleepless, tattooed character lying awake in an urban bedroom, surrounded by details including a skull clock and cassette player. A cold blue and violet palette, horror-inspired lettering and the line “When sleep resists, horror persists” bring the nocturnal theme together while retaining the more suave character requested in the original brief.

Alongside the main back illustration, we developed a compact Mr. Revenant skull-and-clock logo for the front chest. Together they create a front-and-back merchandise system that develops the channel’s existing character into something more distinctive and ownable.
